The principal investigator (PI), Dr. Abhijith T is an experimental and theoretical researcher. He has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research, and the Department of Nanoscience and Technology, PSG Institute of Advanced Studies, Coimbatore. His research mainly focuses on developing the organic/inorganic nano-architectures and utilizing such structures in optical, electronic, and optoelectronic applications. He completed his post-graduate degree from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Calicut, India followed by the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics at the same institute.  He worked as an Institute Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi for two years.
